156.002 Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to enact subdivision, land partitioning and expedited and division regulations for the city which will:
(A) Provide for better living conditions within new land divisions;
(B) Assure necessary streets, utilities and public areas and provide for their installation or improvement;
(C) Enhance and secure property values in land divisions and adjacent land;
(D) Simplify and make land descriptions more certain; and
(E) In general, to promote the health, safety, convenience and general welfare of the people consistent with the city’s Comprehensive Plan. (Ord. 80-3, passed 04/12/2004)
