The following procedures shall apply when issuing a house number or updating the house numbering map.

(A) The City Recorder shall assign and issue house numbers for all existing buildings within the city. It shall be the duty of the owner or agent in charge of the structure to apply to the Recorder for a number.

(B) The City Recorder shall be responsible for designating all new addresses on the building permits or trailer/mobile home placement permits as they are issued and denote said number on the appropriate house numbering map.

(C) All present structures shall be numbered within one month after passage of this chapter; all new structures within one month after being ready for occupancy.

(D) The house numbering map shall be maintained by the City Recorder and shall be updated periodically.

(E) Individual grid maps will be made available at cost from the City Recorder. (Ord. 78-7, passed 06/6/1978)
