If the city receives written remonstrances against the project representing over 66% of the tax-appraised value of the area of the LID within 30 days after the assessment hearing described in § 154.07(B) of this chapter, the project will be terminated and may not be revisited for at least six months. A remonstrance may be withdrawn in writing up to the deadline for receiving remonstrances. (Ord. 92-05, passed 12/15/1992)
