(A) The city is interested in well shielded, energy efficient street lighting sources that direct the light source downward where it is needed, not up or sideways where it is wasted and causes glare, light trespass and bright skies.

(B) The purpose of this chapter is to establish a policy regarding the installation, removal, relocation or modification of street lighting devices. (Ord. 2002-05, passed 11/18/2002)
