In the MR Zone, the following standards shall apply.

(A) The minimum lot size shall be 5,000 square feet, plus 2,500 square feet for an additional residential unit.

(B) The density of a hotel or motel development shall be determined by the parking requirement.

(C) The minimum lot width shall be 50 feet, except on a corner lot it shall be 60 feet.

(D) The minimum lot depth shall be 100 feet.

(E) The minimum front yard shall be 20 feet.

(F) The minimum side yard shall be five feet, except on the street side of a corner lot it shall be 15 feet.

(G) The maximum building height shall be 24 feet.

(H) Outdoor storage areas shall be enclosed by suitable vegetation, fencing or walls.

(I) Exterior lighting shall not adversely affect the livability of nearby residential property.

(J) When a commercial use abuts a residential use, there will be an attractively designed and maintained buffer which can be in the form of vegetation, fencing or walls.

(K) Development shall be in accordance with the shoreline and aquatic standards of § 157.271 of this chapter.

(L) Parking shall be in accordance with §§ 157.305 through 157.311 of this chapter. (Ord. 80-2, passed 06/14/2010; Ord. 2023-01, passed 02/13/2023)
